6. Anna and her boyfriend are not doing well together but she is still really in love with him. She finds an inexpensive ring that a friend of hers has lost. She knows it’s a ring that her boyfriend has always admired and said that he would like to own one like it. Describe the scene and write the story (or monologue/ dialogue) was Anna makes her decision about what she is going to do with the ring.

[She picks up the ring and stares at it in amazement]

O…M…G! Sarah’s ring, what should I do. Should I keep it or shouldn’t I. My boyfriend is in love with this ring he means everything, with out him… I don’t know what I would do. But, Sarah is my friend maybe if I ask she would give me it... Nah I can’t take that chance I will give it to him a present tonight that should make us closer hopefully. She's coming! Better hide it! [stuffs ring into her pocket]

[Acting like she is doing nothing sitting on the lunch bench]

Sarah

Hey Anne sorry I’m late to lunch I was looking for my ring but I never did find it.

Anne
That’s to bad. Sorry!

Anne
I see Joesph I need to give him something I’ll talk to you later k bye!

[Running to Joesph]

Anne
Hey you I haven’t seen you in a while! (Kissing him on the check)
Sarah
Close your eyes I have a present for you.

Joesph
Ok! (Saying it in confusion)
[Anne hands him a ring, then he opens his eyes]

Joesph
I love this ring but its Sarah’s…. Did you still this? Answer me! (In a scornful voice)

Anne
No I found it! Finder’s keepers.

Joesph
I can’t believe you!
